What does Mom Ease do exactly?

Mom Ease connects Moms with Moms to get things done! Through our multipurpose app, we help mothers who need services find mothers who want to provide services. Moms can offer or receive support with childcare, pet care, house cleaning and last-minute care. Moms can also earn income by offering services and/or find services from another mom in their local area.

How old do you have to be to join Mom Ease?

We welcome mothers of all ages, from young moms to grandmothers, as long as you are at least 18 years old. Age is never a barrier here. We love having a diverse community of moms supporting one another!

What is last-minute care?

Last-minute care is assistance offered within 24 hours. It can be for childcare, pet care or house cleaning. It is used for those unexpected sitter cancellations or a last-minute work crunch.

Can I both offer and find care?

Yes, absolutely! Since Mom Ease was designed with mothers in mind, it’s very flexible. For example, if you would like to offer care to another mom for date nights, and you need to find in home day care during the day, you can find it all on our app. It is easy and convenient to navigate the app and switch between being the provider or the mom receiving support.

Is Mom Ease safe?

Mom Ease requires every member to complete a background check before joining. Checks are run directly in the app through Checkr. Once completed, you can join.

How long does a background check take?

After you enter your information, results usually arrive in 20 minutes to a couple of days, depending on your state and county. If it seems to be taking longer, reach out to support@momeasenow.com

Can you tell me more about the background check?

Safety is our top priority. Every member completes a background check in the app through our partner, Checkr. Download the app, enter your information, and follow the guided steps. Am I able to use a background check from another company?

Your well-being comes first. Unfortunately, we cannot accept reports from other companies due to risks of fraud, inconsistencies, and forgery. We apologize for any inconvenience. Your safety is our top priority.

Is there a cost to join Mom Ease?

Yes, all members must pay for their background check. Once your background check has cleared, then you can pick which membership level works for your budget. (We recommend the yearlong membership as it is the most cost efficient.)

What makes Mom Ease different from other babysitting apps?

Mom Ease is different because it aims to give mothers opportunities to earn an income AND find support all in the same place. Mom Ease also offers the last-minute care (assistance within 24 hours) - something moms can’t find anywhere else.

If my child has an allergy, how can I make you aware of it?

There are several filters and notes in the profile to let the provider be very aware of this special request.

Am I able to choose who watches my kids?

Yes. Mom Ease matches you with providers based on location, filters, and availability, but you always have the final choice of who provides care.

Is Mom Ease in my area?

Mom Ease is currently available in Columbus, Ohio, and surrounding cities. We are expanding to the rest of Ohio and the Midwest as quickly as possible. To check if we serve your location, simply download the app and enter your address. If you cannot proceed past that step, you are likely outside our current service area. If you're still unsure, feel free to email us or follow our social media pages. We'll announce every new city as we grow!

Does Mom Ease take any percentage or fee from the payments?

No, never!

Mom Ease is designed only to connect mothers with one another—so you can easily find the help or opportunities you need. We never take any fees, commissions, or percentages from your earnings.

We simply encourage moms to use the app to discover great opportunities. How you arrange payment (and which method you choose) is completely up to you and the other member. We don't control or regulate it in any way.

To get the best reviews and build trust, we do recommend that everyone clearly shares their rates upfront and keeps their profile up to date. That way, everyone knows exactly what to expect and feels confident working together!
